LEAGUE PLAY
League Play: Stay Competitive
Saturday league and Open Run in Largo, with divisions by age range. Eight games, then playoffs.
Chapter 01
How the Saturday league runs
League play at the Warehouse is fun, yet competitive. Players are split into divisions by age range, so a 4th grader is never guarding a high school senior, and every division plays eight games before the playoffs begin.
Sessions are typically held on weekends, and the Saturday blocks are laid out by age and grade. Boys and girls both play, and the older divisions include men's pick up for grown-ups who want a run on a real hardwood floor.
Coach Allen and the coaches keep it moving the way they do every practice: honest effort, good sportsmanship and a lot of reps. It is a great way to try out what you worked on in private or group training with a scoreboard running.

Open Run and controlled pick up
Alongside the league we offer Open Run, which we also call controlled pick up games. Players are divided by age range or grade, so the games stay physical without turning into a free-for-all.
Leagues and Open Run are a good fit if you are not on a travel team but want to stay sharp, hone your skills, get exercise and meet other people who love basketball. Many players use them as the bridge between lessons and a try-out for one of our travel teams.

Cost and how to reserve a spot
The cost is $50 per player + $25 one time jersey fee. Your fees help pay for essential gear, equipment and the day-to-day costs of running the gym, because the Academy is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit.
To reserve, pay through PayPal. Our PayPal is "BCH Mechanical @tbwacademy". Add a note naming the session you want to attend so we put your player in the right division. If you would rather talk it through first, call or text Coach Allen at (727) 235-4726.
Dates for the next league
No dates have been set. New sessions get announced on this website, on social media and in our e-newsletter. If you want to be sure you hear first, follow @basketball_warehouse on Instagram or call Coach Allen and ask to be added to the list.
Weekday practice times are different from the Saturday league, and they change often, so check the schedule page before you make plans.
